بیش از ۲۳۰ دلیل برای رابطه جنسی وجود دارند

قدیمها، خیلی قدیمها دلایل بشر برای ایجاد رابطه جنسی انگشت شمار بود. به عبارت دقیقتر تولیدمثل، لذت جنسی و تخلیه فشار جنسی، سه دلیل اصلی بودند.

اما تغییرات تمدنی و تغییر وضعیت بشر بخصوص از قرن ۱۹ میلادی به بعد باعث گسترش برداشت عمومی جامعه از ایجاد رابطه جنسی شد.

اولین تحقیق علمی گسترده در سال ۱۹۸۰ نشان داد که ۴ انگیزه اصلی دیگر هم برای رابطه جنسی بشر وجود دارند که عبارتند از: فقط برای لذت، چون شریک جنسی ام می خواهد، لذت دادن به شریک جنسی و احساس تسلط…

تحقیقات بعدی در سال ۱۹۹۶ شروع این برداشت جدید در دنیای علمی بود که دلایل سکس بشر بیشتر از آن است که تاکنون فرض می کردیم.

همین اتفاق در باره خیانت هم صورت گرفت. برداشت عمومی انسانهای همه جوامع در باره خیانت نیز محدود به چند دلیل اصلی نظیر بی پرنسیپی، زیاده خواهی و عدم علاقه به تعهد زناشویی می شد. اما تحقیقات جدیدتر می گویدد بسیاری از افراد متاهل که مرتکب رابطه بیرون از زناشویی می شوند از زندگی شان کاملا راضی بوده اند و همسرشان را دوست دارند.

یکی از تحقیقات مهم که زمینه ساز بررسی های جدید گشته است نشان می دهد ۲۳۷ دلیل برای بشر وجود دارد که تن به رابطه جنسی بدهد.

لیست ۵۰ دلیل اولیه زنان و مردان به ترتیب اهمیت و با کمی تفاوت، نشان می دهد هیچکدام از دلایل انسان معاصر، بسیار ساده و لحظه ایی شده اند.

دلایل مردان با رنگ آبی نوشته شده است:
